The camera has a fold out 5″ LCD touchscreen, and its high resolution OLED viewfinder slides on a robust aftermarket top handle/cheeseplate (not shown) with plenty of accessory mounting points. It comes with a Canon EF mount to use DSLR lenses and let you take advantage of its 6K Super 35mm sized sensor, including the ability to record in BlackMagic’s RAW format. But the word Broadcast in its title is really what differentiates this camera. A combination of windowing the 6K sensor down to 4k and optics in an alternate lens mount allow one to use true B4 broadcast lenses with all of their advantages: incredible zoom range, parfocal capability and access to studio controls. Top that off with all the usual URSA features: simple menus, external SSD recording, multiple recording formats, pro inputs and outputs including 12G SDI and you have an incredibly versatile camera.
