Similar to our Accsoon units, these units take an incoming HD signal (up to 1080 / 60P) and encode it as an h.264 stream that can be sent over 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz WiFi directly to an iPad or Phone for monitoring up to 200 meters away. But additionally they have Software Defined Radio capability when paired as transmitter and receiver. What does that mean? It lets it access a third band of signals that are more robust and can accept a higher bit rate of encoded video with transmission distances of up to 3 kilometers.
Flexibility in a small package are what these units are all about. The Transmitter can take either HDMI or SDI as their video input, but they can also accept independent audio over their 3.5mm stereo input. Either unit can be powered by mounting the ubiquitous NP-F style battery (extra) on the back. If you are mounting the units on something mobile like a camera or a monitor, you can use the included Dtap to USB-C cable to power them, or if you’re stationary we include a 20 watt USB-C power supply. If you plug the receiver into a laptop or an iPad over USB-C, you can bring your camera wirelessly into any program that recognizes a webcam as an input such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Is the RavenEye transmitter that came with your DJI gimbal not cutting it? The transmitter units come with the specific square clip to directly mount it under the camera sled. If you are viewing the signal on an iPad you even have bi-directional compatibility where you can alter certain gimbal settings from the iPad!
Since you can monitor on an iPad or Phone without a receiver, we are not making you take a transmitter and a receiver together but rather will rent each unit a la carte according to your needs. If you require NP-F style batteries, they are extra at $10 each.
