We have Sony’s excellent 70-200mm lens as well as Tamron’s 70-180mm lens, and now we’ve added the Sigma brand to our E-Mount long telephoto zooms. Like the others this is an f2.8 constant aperture, but on this lens in addition to setting your F-stop electronically through camera settings, you can also control it manually by using the de-clicked aperture ring. It has built-in stabilization tech to help keep things steady, and fast reacting autofocus. Sold as a “Sports” lens for photos, it has some weather sealing and comes with a tripod foot with recessed mounting holes, or the foot’s sides are bevelled so that it can natively clip into any Arca Swiss style head.
