About
A bit heavier in the front end than a standard ⅔” lens, but that extra glass sure makes a difference when you need telephoto zoom range on a hand held camera. You can use it on a ⅔” camera, but we also have the MTF adaptor that allows it to be used with the E-Mount on Sony “crop sensor” cameras such as the FS7. You have to click the extender in for optical reasons, leading to a bit of light loss, however with that setup you now have a 20-435mm lens covering a full 4K Super 35mm sensor. You could approach and surpass that telephoto figure using 35mm glass, but you won’t get anywhere near the wide end in any sort of practical equivalent. As with most B4 lenses, the safety glass is mounted in the hood, and there’s a dial to easily adjust zoom speed.
