The Easyrig Vario 5 with Gimbal Rig Vest and 5″ Extended Arm is a body-worn support system that is adjustable to support camera rigs weighing 11 to 38 lb. The system works by using a suspension line to support the weight of the gimbal rig, taking the load off your shoulder, neck, and arm muscles, and distributing it across your torso.The gooseneck extends out in front of your body for easier underslinging of your camera, or for use in holding light gimbals, but the suspension rope can be set further back on the gooseneck for shoulder mounted cameras. From the factory the Vario 5 comes with a locking quick release clamp that can be easily attached to camera handles. We also recently added the “Kong” quick release that clips into eyebolts when your camera doesn’t have a handle and you have to hang it from a cheeseplate. The eyebolts come in ⅜” or ¼” thread with locking nuts.
