A nice compact solution for crew communications, whether that be on a movie set or during a live telecast. The system has six single cup headsets, one of which acts as the “master” and the other five slave off of it. Each headset covers one ear, and there is an assortment of open or closed ear cups. Rather than having to find and press a button to activate your microphone, you simply swing the mic arm down in front of your mouth to transmit. Easy! The battery for the unit loads into the side of the headband opposite the ear cup so that the weight is balanced on your head (they are not heavy). The kit comes with 2 batteries per headset (for a total of 12) and an eight place charger. On the Master headset, batteries last around 5 hours each, while the slave headsets get around 10 hours of use. Maximum range under ideal conditions is about 1,100 feet or 350 meters.
