This a highly specialized zoom lens for very close and tight macro shooting. It comes in the Canon EF mount, and it has coverage for full frame sensors. One oddity over other lenses is that there is no focus ring. Since this is a dedicated macro lens, you determine the focus plane by physically placing the tip of the lens the correct distance away from your subject (about a half inch). Be aware though that the lens physically grows longer the further you zoom in. Adjusting your depth of field is quite important in macro videography, and the lens has manual iris adjustment from f2.8 to f16. Not a lens for everyone, but irreplaceable in certain circumstances.
