This a lighting modifier for lights with a full sized Bowens mount. It’s a four foot long “balloon”. You blow it up with the included small air pump powered by AA batteries (takes about 30 seconds). Half of the length of the tube is black on the back and silvered on the inside, the other half is diffusion cloth. One end of the tube is rigid and has a Bowen’s mount. It locks into any COB style lamp and then the light shines down the length of the tube and is reflected back on itself and then out the front for the full 4′ length of the tube. This makes for diffused light that goes out of the tube omnidirectionally, The four foot length means if you are using it as a key source, you get nice soft wrap-around shadows. If you like soft light but you don’t want it to go everywhere, the tube comes with an eggcrate that easily fastens on the top and bottom and limits the spread of the illumination.
