Originally designed for the 2000 Olympics, this has been a staple mic for on-air talent and reporters. The MD46 is a very ‘good-natured’ microphone whose design avoids wind and handling noise problems naturally, and we include a foam wind sock for even better performance on the sideline. It is a dynamic mic (so no phantom power needed) and it has a cardioid pickup pattern to reject off axis noise. It has a long handle so you are still able to get a good grip, even if it has a mic flash attached. A real workhorse.
