Part of Sony’s G Master line, so you know it’s great glass. It’s the lens to take if you only have space for one lens: it’s a great all-arounder. 24mm is wide enough for most scenarios, and 105mm gives you juuuust that extra bit of telephoto over it’s faster Brother, the 24-70mm f2.8. The trade off is that, as mentioned, it’s one stop slower at f4.0. Given that Today’s cameras make great images at high ISO levels, if you don’t need the wider aperture for depth of field reasons, it’s a nice trade-off.
