This is a great package for creating a “Video Village” on a commercial set. The kit includes a single transmitter and three receivers. These are Bolt 6 models in Teradek’s 750 range. In addition to their use of the “old” 5GHz frequencies, the Bolt 6 allows access to the new less crowded 6GHz range. By using a free smartphone app, you can scan the airspace around you, look for unused holes in the spectrum, and tune the transmitter and receivers to that clear signal.
There are female and male Vmount battery plates on either side of each of the receivers. If you clip on a battery the receiver will take it’s power from that battery, but it also passes the battery’s power through to the other side. This makes assembling something like a roving Director’s monitor kit much easier. If you have a monitor screen that has a Vmount power option, you can simply clip on the receiver and battery, add a short signal cable and you’ve got a mobile screen just like that! We are including three 99wH mini-Vmount batteries with this kit, along with a dual charger. These batteries match the size of the receivers and make for an elegant, small unit.
