The compact and portable H5 gives you everything you need to create professional quality audio. The base unit has two combination 1/4″ TRS / XLR inputs on the bottom for plugging in external mics or other pro audio sources. On the top it has a proprietary connecter that allows one to attach specialized modules. It comes with a stereo X/Y microphone module, or that can be detached and replaced with an Omni-directional mic unit. It also comes with a dual XLR module which essentially turns it into a recorder with four inputs.
Ideal for live concert and rehearsal recording as well as audio for video, the H5 is equally well-suited for podcasting, broadcasting and electronic newsgathering.
