This Swedish invention takes most of the weight of a shoulder mounted camera off the shoulder and back, and transfers it to the hips and torso. This unit is the single shoulder style. It’s really designed to eliminate most of (but not all of) the weight of a shoulder mounted camera. Our unit comes with two gas weight cartridges, good for a maximum of either 26 pounds (typical ENG camera), or 44 pounds (loaded cinema camera). The cartridges are not user swappable. From the factory the EasyRig comes with a locking quick release clamp that easily attaches to camera handles. We also recently added the “Kong” quick release that clips into eyebolts when your camera doesn’t have a handle and you have to hang it from a cheeseplate. The eyebolts come in ⅜” or ¼” thread with locking nuts.
